Miley Cyrus's 'Bass Persuades' falls from No. 1 to No. 157 on the Billboard 200, the biggest drop ever for a No. 1 debut
Miley Cyrus's "Bass Persuades" has fallen from No. 1 to No. 157 on the Billboard 200 in its second week, the biggest drop ever for an album the week after a No. 1 debut.

The 156-spot fall beats Celine Dion's "Courage," which went from No. 1 to No. 111 in 2019.
Variety notes that Bon Jovi's bigger 1-to-169 fall doesn't count, because that album was two years old and only got back to No. 1 by bundling CDs with concert tickets, a tactic Billboard has since banned.
The album opened with about 61,000 units and was Miley's first No. 1 album since 2013's "Bangerz." Its title track peaked at No. 35 on the Hot 100, and she just released a video for the follow-up, "Different Religion."
