On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Smith explained that their fifth album, officially titled "Hazel Eyes," was named for eyes they thought were brown. "I thought hazel eyes were brown, like hazelnut," they said. Hazel eyes are actually a mix of brown, green and gold or amber.

Smith only realized the mix-up about four months ago, after the album campaign had already been shot. "All my clothes were brown for the whole album campaign. It's a nightmare," they said with a laugh. "It should've been called Hazelnut Eyes. I'm changing the definition."

The album, which Smith co-produced, came out in late August and is about love and their relationship. TwoCity Chorus joined Smith for a live performance of "Oh Mother" on the show.
