Kevin Hart's ex-assistant wants Montia Sabbag to testify in his NDA lawsuit

Kevin Hart's legal fight with his former assistant could pull in a name from his past. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Miesha Shakes wants Montia Sabbag, the woman at the center of Hart's 2017 sex tape scandal, to testify as a witness. Hart sued Shakes claiming she broke a non-disclosure agreement by discussing his private life in an interview with a blogger. Shakes argues Hart broke the deal first and that the agreement is void, and says he damaged his own reputation over the years, pointing to the 2017 scandal as an example. Sabbag sued Hart for $60 million in 2019; he denied wrongdoing and that case was dismissed. Shakes says she plans to take the stand herself and call Hart to testify too. The case is ongoing.

Drake made no Grammy submissions this year, per Billboard sources

REPORTED: Drake did not submit any albums or songs for 2027 Grammy consideration ahead of the deadline, according to sources who spoke to Billboard. Drake's camp has not confirmed the report. The move would come in a huge year for him: in May he released three albums in one day, ICEMAN, Habibti and Maid of Honour, with ICEMAN topping the Billboard 200 and "Janice STFU" hitting No. 1 on the Hot 100. His tension with the Recording Academy goes back years, from criticizing award shows in his 2019 acceptance speech for "God's Plan" to withdrawing his own nominations in 2021. He has won just five Grammys from 56 nominations. Per Billboard sources.

Michael Douglas says he fell very hard for Jeanne Tripplehorn on Basic Instinct

Michael Douglas is clearing up a decades-old Basic Instinct rumor in his new memoir, One Helluva Ride. For years, fans assumed he was involved with Sharon Stone during the 1992 thriller, but Douglas, now 82, writes that he was actually seeing Jeanne Tripplehorn, who played his character's therapist. He says he "fell very hard" for her despite a nearly 20-year age gap, and admits he was ready to leave his first wife, Diandra Luker, at the time. In the end, he chose not to rush from his marriage into another serious relationship, and says the romance ended when filming wrapped. Douglas later divorced Luker and has been married to Catherine Zeta-Jones since 2000. Tripplehorn married actor Leland Orser that same year.

Attempted-murder suspect arrested in raid at Trippie Redd's Florida mansion

A man wanted for attempted murder was taken into custody at Trippie Redd's Southwest Ranches, Florida home on Tuesday evening during a search-warrant raid. Miami Police say officers were looking for 25-year-old Braveone Jones, also known as BalloutDaDon, in connection with a September 15 shooting outside a Wynwood restaurant that left two men, ages 18 and 23, hospitalized. Jones was found at the property around 6 p.m. and now faces two firearm-related attempted second-degree murder charges, with bond set at $15,000 per count. Davie Police served the warrant with help from Fort Lauderdale and Sunrise police, the Broward Sheriff's Office, the ATF and Plantation Police SWAT, while Miami Police are leading the investigation. Police have not explained how Jones is connected to the rapper, and the investigation is ongoing.
